The Details

This 3000 square foot, eco-friendly venue comfortably accommodates up to 175 guests with a buffet style service, or 150 guests with a sit down style of service.
 

The spaces included are as detailed below:

 

Main Studio: (1500 sq. ft.) With professionally sprung dance floor, rock wall backdrop, 4 oversized copper clad French doors, heated counters and two stone restrooms (seats up-to 86).

 

Tea Room: (600 sq ft.) Perfect for food service and/or buffet placement. 14 ft. high ceilings, bamboo floors and 6 over-sized copper clad French doors. Stone restroom with wall hung fixtures.

 

Courtyard: (1000 sq ft.) brick floor, native granite garden walls, pond, heated bench, waterfall with fiber optic lighting. (Seats up-to 60)

Hour Options  

  • music to midnight-leave by 1am

  • music until 1am-leave by 2am

  • music to 2 am-leave by 3am.

  • Add per hour to DJ cost after 11pm

Start and end times vary depending on the nature of the event. We will include written start and end times with all of our rental proposals. For wedding receptions we provide building wide access at 10am the day of the reception. Typically music ends at 11pm with the building closed at midnight. You can however pay extra to extend the end time or to get earlier access to the venue.

Early Access Options

Access to our venue the day or night before, for a pre-wedding decoration party or, for other wedding related party is an option and may be reserved. This will include a studio manager to point lights, use the studio sound system and provide some assistance as requested.

• Access at 3pm the day before event (additional cost)

• Access at 10am the day before event (additional cost)

Studio Support Included with Venue

A studio manager is always present to:

  • Provide a clean and fully functional facility prepared to start on time.

  • Facilitate the inclusion of any outside vendors working in the building.

  • Provide oversight; help with mid-event transitions and communicate with you.

  • Operate the studios’ public address sound system, (delivers music to the studio, courtyard and tearoom)

  • Adjust studio lights and help set the scene with the studios lighting systems.

  • Additional staff and technical support available as requested

Patio Heaters

2 Quartz patio heaters are included with our venue. Peninsula weather may require 2 additional heaters.

Rain Cover

Wave Street Studios can protect about 2/3rds of our courtyard from inclement weather.

We install a 24’ x 30’ white tarp that is suspended 20’ above the ground.

It is put up the day before your rental date to insure its condition.

 

Non-Included Rentals

We supply everything on our “list of furnishings” as part of the venue rental. Additional rentals such as plates, silverware and other items are not a part of this venue rental agreement. Food service rentals including chaffing dishes and buffet service items should be included as part of a food service agreement.

On and off site options

Luckily, we are located in one of the most beautiful and sought out areas on the Pacific coast. Steps from the famous Cannery Row and beautiful beaches, it's easy to plan a beach wedding or photos and then head to Wave Street for the celebration. It's all up to you!
